A Poem: For what's made the world dark
from skin to skin
we move backwards and forwards
as time sinks in
our thoughts go upwards and downwards
color is vision
so we think after we say
all the preconceived notions
that stand in our way
but underneath every pigment
are truths and lies
words that we hold and songs that we write
painting our worlds in the hues only we understand
blurring our vision
letting children...
